Please carefully read the ‘General Terms and Conditions for Domestic and Export Wholesale Customers’ and the additional terms of either the ‘Domestic Wholesale USA’ or ‘Export Wholesale’ sections below before submitting your wholesale application.
General Terms and Conditions for Domestic and Export Wholesale Customers Our range of products are totally unique – handmade right here on the premises in Tasmania, using 100% chemical free raw materials such as rare Leatherwood Beeswax & Honey found nowhere else in the world, to a 2000 year old formulae. We have sold our products throughout Australia since 1993, and globally since 1999. Our products consist of 7 separate ranges: All of which are shelf stable (18mths – 2yrs) apart from: IMPORTANT—Please note that our totally natural raw materials such as beeswax, honey, herbs, olive oil, essential oils etc. can vary slightly each season/crop in texture, aroma and appearance due to weather conditions, drought and other natural phenomena which we have no control over. Our products are made to a standard formula, but, because we use 100% natural raw materials, subject to subtle differences, just like wine, artisan-made cheese, honey or olive oils, the resultant product can have subtle variations in scent, texture and colour, which in no way affect its superb quality…it simply proves to the consumer that the product is wholly handmade, 100% truly natural, and why the product has a loyal clientele worldwide. This needs to be wholly understood at the outset, signed off on as read and understood and will not be accepted as grounds for rejection of a shipment. *sign up discounts or incentives and the loyalty rewards program do not apply for Wholesale customers due to the generous discount you already benefit from.
Additional terms and conditions
Ordering of Stock To be a Beauty and the Bees Domestic Wholesalers in the USA, the minimum order amount is 25 units per product. It is worth considering if you are a wholesaler that you maintain reasonable stock levels. This will impact you in three ways: Selling Beauty and the Bees products on your Online Store: If you are reselling Beauty and the Bees products through your online store, product presentation and product description must be authorised by Beauty and the Bees before publishing on your site. Beauty and the Bees product must not be sold for less than Beauty and the Bees Retail Price. Payment Terms and Conditions Domestic clients will be asked to include payment pro-forma by credit card or bank transfer after shipping costs are calculated and your invoice is sent to you. Shipping/ Freight charges… How much will it cost? All orders will incur our standard shipping and handling charges, which will be specified on your invoice (this is also subject to change dependent on costs charged by our freight providers). Your shipping costs will be calculated and sent to you after your order is placed. Additional FAQS Can we use our own courier? After many years at the hands of freight companies who lose, break, damage or otherwise cause problems for both the client, and ourselves we use only reputable freight companies for our products, especially our cream products because they are fast, are 100% reliable, and frankly more cost effective. Other shelf stable products can be shipped on a pallet by a combination of airfreight/road freight combination to offer reasonably fast and more cost effective transit. Pallet shipments are quoted separately. How does the refrigeration factor of your skin care come into play during transit? We choose a freight company that is fast so this is of no concern, which is why we choose a freight company we are familiar with for all cream products. Do your products have to be kept at a low temperature at all times or just after they are opened? Refrigerated storage and POS display is important to maintain and extend shelf life. Because we use no synthetic or chemical preservatives which are the main ethos and unique selling point of our range, the client can see instantly that this product is unique, fresh and healthy when it is refrigerated! Does a facility to refill the clients’ containers exist? No, because our products are totally different to that of any other so-called “natural” product range. If you look at them closely they are packed with synthetics, preservatives, thickeners etc., so that you can re-pour them without the integrity of the product being compromised. Our formulations are totally unique, poured when warm, and set in the jar. Repackaging is not possible. This is one of the reasons that we use glass, so that the consumer can add the container to their recycling crate, entering the recycling system in the normal way. Do you supply sample sachets, testers for distribution? Unlike contract-manufactured products full of stabilizers, humectants and emulsifiers squirted into sachets by machine, we hand make and pour our cream products directly into the vessel in which they are sold, and hence our product is not designed for plastic sachets. However, some products come in 15 ml sample sizes. We charge wholesale prices for initial samples because we have many requests each week, and it is not cost effective to provide them for free. Testers for products are negotiated with each distributor depending on order size and value, but as a general rule, testers would only be considered on bulk purchases. Any further questions. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
IMPORTANT: WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING AMAZON WHOLESALE ACCOUNTS OR THE RESALE OF OUR PRODUCTS ON AMAZON.COM, AMAZON.CA, AMAZON.CO.UK OR OTHER AMAZON WEBSITES AT THIS TIME.
Ordering of Stock To be a Beauty and the Bees Export Wholesaler, the minimum order amount is 30 units per product. It is worth considering if you are a wholesaler that you maintain reasonable stock levels. This will impact you in three ways: Selling Beauty and the Bees products through Clients own Online Store: If you are reselling Beauty and the Bees products through your online store, product presentation and product description must be authorised by Beauty and the Bees before publishing on your site. Beauty and the Bees product must not be sold for less than Beauty and the Bees Retail Price. Documentation – we can supply you with the following documentation if you require it for customs or local authority purposes: Additionally, you must check with your local authority in your specific country of origin for any further documentation that may be required, as each country differs in its import requirements. This responsibility is yours to comply with, and can be time consuming and detailed, but we are happy to help where we can. We will not be held responsible for delays or penalties incurred in transit of goods as a result of incorrect customs declarations, incorrect documentation etc. Import Laws (including NZ) Your country may have (New Zealand does) import laws regarding honey. Our manufactured products only contain honey and should be fine, having said this, it is up to the discretion of the customs import officer to allow the consignment through. It is your responsibility to check the import laws in your country. Beauty & the Bees will take no responsibility for products being stopped at customs and customers not receiving their orders due to this. We do not recommend New Zealand customers buying our packaged honey. Insurance – you will need to demonstrate to us that you are fully covered for product liability insurance in the jurisdiction in which you intend to sell. This is very important, as, whilst Beauty and the Bees products use only food grade familiar ingredients, and present the lowest risk possible, the consumer is increasingly litigious in many Western countries. Payment Terms and Conditions All export clients will be asked to pay pro-forma by credit card or electronic transfer after shipping costs are calculated and your invoice is sent to you and before goods are shipped for each and every order without exception. Shipping/ Freight charges… How much will it cost? All overseas shipments are sent by our current shipper of choice or a priority shipper of your choice (due to the unique fresh nature of our products we do not ship by sea in order to avoid spoilage during the longer transit time). Shipping cost cannot be quoted until the order is packed and is accepted by the client. All freight is FOB Tasmania. Every export client has a different product mix, the freight component of which cannot be determined until you have chosen the products that you wish to freight and it is packed.
